Although Carswell Real Estate opened its doors in 2006, its founding members’ ties to the greater Montgomery County area go back even farther. The Carswell family moved to Magnolia in 1963, back when the Spring Creek bridge was constructed from wood. Mostly country homes and agricultural-based enterprises, the area had not yet become a hot spot for developers looking to build schools, shopping centers, entertainment venues, and master-planned single-family home communities.
Founder Lisa Carswell acquired a real estate license in 1996 to help friends and family find the homes of their dreams in the communities they love. As area development took off, the business grew. Sons Justin and Brandan Carswell joined the team as broker and real estate agent in the mid-2000s.
